Ashtead Good Neighbours

About Us

Ashtead Good Neighbours was launched in November 2004 following a suggestion by local resident Mary Hollamby and is a voluntary organisation.

Representatives from Ashtead Residents' Association, Ashtead Churches, Ashtead Rotary, Mole Valley District Council and Surrey Community Action Group worked together to set up and initially fund the scheme. The scheme now runs independently.

At the end of 2011 the scheme had:

169 volunteers

382 clients

In 2011, 1459 jobs were carried out.

The scheme is run by a management team which meets at least 3 times a year.

Download* the 2011 Annual Report and the 2011 Annual Accounts.

Volunteers have three meetings a year with the management team to keep up to date with changes, to share good practice, to discuss problems and ideas, and to socialise.

The scheme has no employees.
